Bla Bla Bla
About

– Bla Bla Bla is a sound reactive application for iPhone and iPad. This App is a little selection of an exercise called “Parametric Mask”. The exercise is a part of a one-day workshop held in December 2010 at the design department of IUAV of Venice and in February 2011 at the ISIA of Urbino.

The aim of the workshop, called “Procedures of Basic Design”, is to go beyond the classic exercises about form and perception that characterize the course of Basic Design.

The new exercises introduce the use of a programming language as a tool that allows to solve problems. It’s not a programming workshop, but a way to use numbers, math and logic, which permits to show objektively how we solve a design problem.

Students attend the first year of a design school and have never programmed before.
The programming language used in the workshop is Processing. The porting for iOs was written in Open Frameworks.

Pros and cons of Bla | Bla | Bla app for iPhone and iPad

Bla | Bla | Bla app good for

This app has helped my students with deafness and other disabilities understand that they can make sounds with their mouths. Students who are mute try to talk with this app. I am unable to use this app because it says waiting on it. Ive tried to delete it so that I could download it again, but it wont delete. This has been a great tool for my students. Please help me get it back up.
This wonderfully simple app is great for visual feedback for volume for voice clients as well as expression and mouth size
Love the concept revolving around human faces and emotions. Fun if you want to make fun of a lecturing professor or fellow classical singer. Nice art designs. May get old after a while but its free! For now.
Hi! No doubt , you have heard from other speech therapists, but this speech therapist would like to thank you from the bottom of her heart! This program has helped reinforce verbal productions from young children! Currently, many applications use pictures to serve as a substitute for speech. With some populations, this practice should be discouraged. Thank you!
This is a great app! My child was born 6 weeks early, is 4 now, and has a speech delay. The speech therapist uses this app during sessions to encourage louder speech. The cat app is the favorite. The louder one speaks, the more the eyes open, plus the whiskers, ears, and mouth move, too.
I love the designs. I also use this app to entertain my nieces and nephew. Its artistic and fun. I will never delete this app!

Some bad moments

The app has a cool concept, with the reactions to sound. It gets boring after a few minutes though. The graphics look like they were made in MSPaint  Also, rotation isnt supported. This app looks like it has lots of potential. It will be nice to see some upgrades.
